Newsprint Features and Specifications

Newsprint is the main paper used for newspapers and books, that is, white newspapers. It is often used for texts such as textbooks, newspapers, books, and newspapers. The weight of paper newsprint is (49~52)±2g/m2. Flat paper specification: 787×1092, 850×1168, 880×1230. Roll paper specification: width is 787,1092,1575; length is 6000~8000m.

The characteristics are soft paper, good ink absorption ability (to ensure that the ink can be well fixed on the paper), good elasticity, no lint, smooth on both sides (after calendering), so that the print on both sides is clear and full, and the printing effect is good.

Most of the original pulp of newsprint is produced from mechanical wood pulp or other chemical pulp, which contains a large amount of lignin and other impurities, and is not suitable for long-term storage. Long-term storage will make the paper yellow and brittle, with poor water resistance, and it is not suitable for writing. , easy to damage and other consequences.
