What is Kraft Cardboard?

Kraft cardboard is a general term for paper with a grammage between kraft paper and cardboard. There are many kinds of kraft paper, ordinary kraft paper, coated kraft paper, liner kraft paper, single-sided kraft paper, and double-sided kraft paper.

The texture of kraft paper must be tough, with high burst resistance, ring compressive strength and tear strength, in addition to high water resistance. Due to the difference in technology and materials, in general, the quality of most imported kraft paper is better than that of domestic kraft paper, especially the quality of American-made kraft paper is the best. The test items are: quantitative, thickness, tightness, bursting strength, bursting index, ring compressive strength, transverse ring compressive index, breaking length, tearing degree, sizing degree, moisture, quantitative difference in width, transverse folding endurance and many more.

1. Application of kraft cardboard

Kraft cardboard has good burst resistance due to its hard material and is generally used for printing and packaging. Common applications include paper boxes, gift packaging boxes, mobile phone boxes, etc. The indispensable paper corners in industrial packaging are also made of multiple sheets. The kraft paper and kraft paper are pasted and then shaped and pressed by a corner protector.

Second, the difference between kraft paper and kraft paper

In fact, the concept of kraft paper and kraft paper is the same, the thin one is called kraft paper, and the thicker one is called kraft paper. Generally, the paper under 120g is called kraft paper, the paper above 120g is called kraft paper, and the paper above is cardboard.
